Uniting Church anniversary

Pat Rogers, Glenda Koop and Val Becker attended afternoon tea to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the East Gambier Uniting Church.

The East Gambier Uniting Church celebrated its 50th anniversary on the weekend.

The church originally opened on September 28, 1958.

An afternoon tea began the celebration on Saturday and parishioners gathered in the evening for a barbecue, where the special guest was Uniting Church Moderator, Reverend Rod Dyson.

On Sunday morning there was a church service and Holy Communion followed by lunch.
