Irish balladeer Jon Peters will entertain the crowd at the Carpenter Rocks Tavern on Sunday evening with his mix of pop, rock, blues and ballads.
Hotel spokesperson Steve Mullan said the venue would step up live entertainment over the fishing season from now until late April, beginning with Peters’ show from 7.30pm this weekend.
“Jon has been away, but is back in town doing regular shows,” he said, adding the singer/guitarist was sure to be popular with the crowd.
Also this week, local musicians Adam Schriever and Bo’az Manser will play their heavily improvised brand of jazz, funk and Latin at Bullfrogs on Friday night.
Playing as Supermild, they will create a laid-back dining experience at the restaurant/bar from 7.30pm.
