Mark Seymour to rock at Hollick

Australian rock legend Mark Seymour will perform at Hollick Wines’ annual Hot Summer Night event next year.

The singer-songwriter’s music career has spanned more than 26 years since he formed one of Australia’s most successful rock bands, Hunters and Collectors, which created some of the nation’s best-loved songs, such as The Holy Grail and Throw Your Arms Around Me.

“We are pleased to have Mark Seymour perform at Hollick Wines as he holds a special place in the heart of Australian music,” Hollick Wines administration manager Kate Hollick said.

“To have an internationally renowned entertainer perform in our region is fabulous.”

Seymour has followed his successful 18 years with Hunters and Collectors with a vibrant solo recording career that has produced five albums, while he also composes film scores, writes and performs music for theatrical productions and acts.

Internationally regarded as one of Australia’s best singer/songwriters, Seymour continues to draw live audiences with his intense, passionate vocals delivered with a measure of wry humour, often accompanying himself on acoustic guitar.

The Hollick Wines barrel shed will be transformed into a rock concert venue on Saturday, February 21, next year for Seymour’s Coonawarra show.

A three-course meal with wine inclusive will be provided for guests before they dance the night away to Seymour’s classic rock anthems.
