Two Redbacks Hockey Club players have been selected in the South Australian schoolboys under 16 team to compete in the Pacific School Games in Canberra next month.
Harrison Gill and Cameron White are popular players in the division 1 men’s team and were instrumental in the club’s success in reaching the grand final this season.
Gill is renowned for his uncanny goal ability and was Redbacks’ leading scorer this year.
White is a skilful midfielder/forward and was recently included in the SA under 18 Academy squad.
Both players are hard workers in their chosen sport and deserve their State selection.
Redbacks club officials have wish them well and hope that many more of its strong pool of junior talent also win state recognition in the near future.
The Pacific School Games will be a special tournament as players will get the opportunity to compete against Japan, Singapore and Malaysia as well as other Australian states and territories.
