Man arrested for trespass and assault

A 19-year-old Mount Gambier man was arrested on Sunday for aggravated serious criminal trespass and assault as a result of an incident that occurred at a Wehl Street North address earlier in the day. He was released on bail to attend court at a later date.

In other police news, a 14-year-old Mil Lel youth was reported at 1.20am today for illegal use of a motor vehicle and driving without a license after her was stopped by police on Barrows Road. He will be summonsed to attend court.

A 22-year-old Melbourne man was arrested on Saturday for illegal interference with a motor vehicle parked at the Lady Nelson Visitor Centre. The man was also charged with providing false details to police and was refused bail. A 19-year-old Warnambool man was arrested for the same incident. He was charged with illegal interference, resisting police, aggravated assault and property damage. He was also refused bail and both men will attend court today.

A 36-year-old Mount Gambier woman was arrested on Friday as a result enquiries into a theft that occurred at a Centro business last Wednesday. She was released on bail to attend court at a latter date.
