Three drink drivers on Tuesday night

At least three Mount Gambier residents were reported for driving offences between Tuesday afternoon and the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A 27-year-old woman was reported for driving while unregistered and uninsured at 3pm on Tuesday and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.

At 10.20pm a 19-year-old woman was reported for driving with a suspended licence, unregistered and uninsured.

Both drivers will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.

At 3am on Wednesday, a 24-year old man with a permit licence was reported on Bay Road for driving while over the prescribed concentration of alcohol, breach of permit conditions, no L plates, no licensed driver present and providing a false name and address to police.

His vehicle was clamped for seven days and he will be summonsed to attend court at a later date.
