Petrol thefts reported

Mount Gambier police are investigating a series of petrol stealing offences in the region.
A man driving red Holden Commodore sedan filled his car with fuel and drove away without paying four times in recent weeks.
The man is described as white, about 180cm tall, slim build. He is clean shaven with short dark hair. He often wears black track suit pants, hooded tops and white sneakers. He has twice been wearing a yellow baseball cap.
The vehicle is a red VZ Holden Commodore sedan with silver five-spoke mag wheels, black door trim and a low rear spoiler.
It has had different stolen number plates attached on the front (South Australian XHZ 328) and rear (South Australian VJF 080) on the vehicle while committing the offences.
Police have identified three other petrol drive-offs in Adelaide and two in Warrnambool involving the same vehicle and driver.

- Police this morning arrested a 23-year-old Nangwarry man for five counts of making off without payment, five counts of driving with unassigned plates, two counts illegal interference with a motor vehicle and two counts theft. He was released on bail and is due to appear the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court at a later date.
