Rising country star to entertain

Rising country star Paul Costa will perform at the Mount Gambier and District RSL Bowling Club on Friday night (October 30, 2009).

Since releasing his debut solo album Walkin’ In These Shoes in 2004, Costa has had a string of top 10 country radio singles and rose to prominence on the national music scene, being named independent artist of the year in 2006.

The vocally compelling and charismatic performer continued his success with subsequent releases Restoration in 2007 and In This Life earlier this year.

Hailing from the Mallee region of Victoria, Costa grew up listening to the greats, such as Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash, and is now signed to Compass Bros Records.

Tickets for his Mount Gambier show, which begins at 8pm, are $15 at the door and bookings can be made by calling 0437 848 326 or 9725 9515.
