Man stabbed with scissors

Mount Gambier police have apprehended the man who allegedly stabbed another man with a pair of scissors and robbed him of his wallet, cash and morphine tablets at a Sturt Street residence at 10am on Saturday.
Criminal Investigation Branch officers arrested the alleged offender the following day. He was bailed under strict conditions not to contact the alleged victim.
The alleged victim, a Mount Gambier man aged 49, sustained a stab wound to his hand and one to his lower back, but did not require medical treatment.
The accused will face the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court at a later date.
