MSE plans pre-season competition

The Mid South East Football League has announced plans to launch a pre-season competition in 2010.
At its annual meeting held recently, returned president Peter Mitchell said the one-day tournament would be held at Mount Burr two weeks before the season commencing.
Mitchell said the MSEFL was actively looking for a sponsor. The format of the pre-season cup is yet to be finalised.
Meanwhile the MSEFL received seven nominations for its five-member executive.
Ed Fensom did not seek re-election, while the league’s new executive for 2010 will comprise Peter Mitchell (president), Bob Johnston, Gary Nilsson, Lu McInnes and Michael Hughes.
