Jilted lover faces child porn charge

A Mount Gambier teenager who allegedly distributed revealing photos of his ex-girlfriend to schoolmates will face the Youth Court in coming months.

The boy, 16, has been accused of sending child pornography to his peers via text message.

Police believe the girl sent pictures of her breasts to the young man’s mobile phone while they were in a relationship, but when they stopped seeing each other the jilted youth forwarded the photos to other people.

He was reported and will be summonsed to the Mount Gambier court at a later date.
