Grace shows Irish dancing talent

Millicent Irish dancer Grace Keatley has returned home with her winning trophies following the City of Adelaide Irish Dancing Championship held recently.

About 200 dancers competed from four states.

Competition was strong with the Adelaide Academy — of which the Millicent school is part of — achieving many placings in the two days of events.

Grace Keatley won both the beginners and the primary aggregates. The Millicent branch also has dancers from Mount Gambier and surrounding areas.

Several dancers were graded at the championship and will now compete at a higher level of the competition.
