Hoon driver’s vehicle seized

An 18-year-old hoon had his car seized at 1.30pm on Saturday after police received information from the public.
The Mount Gambier man was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle and had his vehicle seized for seven days.
In other police news, at 1.30am on Sunday police attended a vehicle accident on Genoa Street where a car had collided with a fence.
A 36-year-old Bordertown man was reported for driving under the influence, driving with a prescribed concentration of alcohol (0.235) and driving without due care. The man will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
A 29-year-old Mount Gambier woman passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was remanded in police custody. She will attend the Magistrates Court on Monday.
At 2.50am police arrested a 20-year-old Mount Gambier man for assault after an incident on Commerce Place. He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
At 5am police arrested a 33-year-old Mount Gambier woman for disorderly behaviour after an incident on Penola Road. She was bailed and will appear in court at a later date.
At 5.45am a 46-year-old Kingston man was arrested for disorderly behaviour after an incident on Commercial Street East. He was bailed to appear in court at a later date.

Well they need to come sit on Wehl Street North. Every weekend you can guarantee there will be some idiot speeding up the street drag racing or chasing each other!
