Western Border junior soccer teams travelled to Mildura on the weekend for the South Australian country championships.

The under 11 team won the title and other teams also performed well.

Sunraysia (Vic) and Broken Hill (NSW) took part in the SA championships.

A member of the new Mount Gambier Photography Group captured this shot today of a spontaneous waterfall following heavy rain at the Cave Gardens.

After surpassing the August average of 94mm with 111mm of rain, Mount Gambier started September with more wet weather.

The city received 4mm between 9am and 3pm. Coonawarra recorded 14mm.
