Bad Billy wins Edenhope Cup

Prolific money earner Bad Billy won his sixth country cup with an all-the-way win in Saturday’s $13,050 Edenhope Cup over 1850 metres.

“We will keep him on the country cups trail and pick his races carefully because I don’t think he’s as good as he was,” winning trainer Darryl Dodson of Telopea Downs said after the race. Read more

Edenhope joins ABB Grain network

ABB Grain Ltd has added Edenhope to its network of storage and handling facilities in Victoria and South Australia.

In an agreement signed this week with Holland Baling and Transport, the Edenhope storage facilities, which since 2002 have been used to store grain for ABB, will become part of the company’s network of grain sites. Read more

Ballet school honour for Katarina

A Mount Gambier dance student has been invited to join the Australian Ballet School junior interstate program to hone her craft.

Katarina Gajic, who travels from Edenhope twice a week for classes at MJ Dance Studio, said she was thrilled with the news and would attend level one classes next year. Read more
