High school students from across the region were shown pathways into food-related industries on Monday during the inaugural Limestone Coast Hospitality and Viticulture Expo.

The event attracted about 300 people to The Poplars winery in Coonawarra for workshops, tours, produce displays and a cook-off featuring celebrity chef Mark “The Black” Olive. Read more

Hotels proud of award success

Two Mount Gambier hotels will be displaying their recent awards with pride.

The South Eastern Hotel and the Park Hotel were awarded for their gaming and accommodation respectively at the Australian Hotels Association of South Australia 2008 Hotel Industry Awards for Excellence in Adelaide last Wednesday night. Read more
