Council criticises SES ‘gobbledygook’

A Grant district councillor has described a letter from SES headquarters over its plan to relocate two senior Mount Gambier employees to Murray Bridge as “gobbledygook”.
Cr Alan Hill said he read the letter from SA SES chief officer Stuart Macleod five times and still did not get a grasp of what he was saying. Read more
City worker ‘favouritism’ slammed

An outspoken independent parliamentarian has hit out at the State Government for helping workers made redundant in the city, but doing nothing for those in regional areas, such as Nangwarry.
Former Democrat David Winderlich accused the government of favouritism after it announced a $5.7m redundancy and retraining package for Bridgestone’s Salisbury employees. Read more
