RSPCA seizes 200 sheep from Keith property

The RSPCA seized more than 200 sheep on Wednesday from a property at Keith in the largest seizure of its kind in South Australia’s history.
The sheep, many suffering from flystrike and a variety of other health issues, have not been shorn in months and their wool is extremely overgrown, according to an RSPCA spokesperson. Read more

An inquiry has been launched into the shocking crash that killed two truck drivers near Bordertown on Thursday night.
Two B-double semi trailers collided head on along the Dukes Highway, about 20km west of Bordertown, just before midnight when one veered onto the wrong side of the road. Read more
Cause of double fatality established

The cause of a road crash which killed two people on the Dukes Highway outside Keith on Saturday morning has been determined.
Major crash investigators have confirmed the utility vehicle involved in the collision had veered onto the wrong side of the road and when it overcorrected, it collided with an oncoming truck about 4.30am. Read more
Keith Hospital funding questioned

Federal Member for Barker, Patrick Secker, used question time in parliament to ask the Minister for Health about a commitment of $500,000 funding for the Keith District Hospital.
