INNOVATIVE programs at the Mount Gambier Library continue to engage the community, with increased attendance for school programs and outreach visits recorded in 2015/16 compared to 2014/15.

Over 30,000 people visited the library each month in 2015/16 and the facility boasts more than 18,000 registered patrons.

School programs and outreach visits had an increased total attendance of over 1000 patrons last year, while numbers attending adult programs more than doubled.

Library manager Vicki Hutchinson said the success of the programs was due to continued efforts to seek feedback from the community.
