THE Mil Lel Primary School community will celebrate a major milestone in March with the 150th anniversary of the beloved educational institution.

A cohort of 99 students are enrolled for 2017 in the primary school and they have begun their school year with new principal Suzanne Ricketts.

As part of the school's milestone, Ms Ricketts hopes to place commemorative pavers on the school grounds, completed with a mural design.

"If possible we would love an old scholar to design the mural artwork," Ms Ricketts said.
