HUNDREDS of people converged at Pangula Mannamurna yesterday to celebrate the national Close the Gap initiative.
Pangula Mannamurna partnered with a number of South East organisations to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness of prominent health issues for indigenous Australians.
Chief executive David Copley said the event seeks to close the gap regarding indigenous health inequality.
"Our Close the Gap day event is held to educate the community on the services available in the region - both through us and through mainstream organisations," Mr Copley told The Border Watch.
