AN interactive 'Through the Glass' touch screen display will be unveiled at the Hoo-Hoo Forestry Pavilion at the Umpherston Sinkhole this Sunday.
The Mount Gambier Timber Industry Club has partnered with Mount Gambier City Council to install the display, which will allow visitors to learn about the extensive history of the local forestry industry through an immersive visual presentation.
The pavilion will be open between 10am and 3pm on Sunday with restored heritage logging trucks, a Forestry SA fire truck, a modern tree harvester and other vehicles on display.
Timber industry club life member Brian Page said the launch presented a rare opportunity to appreciate the region's most prominent industry.
