BEFORE following his passion for art around the globe and becoming Riddoch Art Gallery director, Macedonian man Melentie Pandilovski led a different life growing up in Europe.

In Skopje in the Republic of Macedonia, Melentie experienced his first major life event at six months old when the city was shaken by a 6.1 magnitude earthquake.

"Countries around the world generously contributed to help rebuild the city to make it what it is today," Melentie told The Border Watch.
